Why one clear message helps
On hard days it is not easy to explain what you need, and your partner does not have to guess. One tap, one message.
Only you can send this card. Nobody can ask for your mood or track it.
For partners: how to answer the card
- Say thank you for telling you.
- Do it without discussing whether it is needed.
- Ask later how it went.
Questions people ask
How do I ask for help without a fight?
Name one clear need, start with “I”, and ask instead of blaming. “I need rest tonight” works better than “You never help.”
Why can’t my partner just guess?
Your partner cannot feel what you feel. A short, clear message saves guessing on both sides.
Is it normal to feel moody or low in pregnancy?
Pregnancy can be a stressful time, and it can affect your mental health. If you are worried about how you feel, talk to your midwife or GP, and be honest about it (NHS).
Can anyone see my mood if I don’t send the card?
No. Nothing is stored, and nobody can ask for your card. Only you decide to send it.
What if I don’t feel safe at home?
You deserve to be safe. See Need help? for helplines and support.
