Privacy policy

The short version: we never see your pregnancy dates, names or your children’s data. The math runs on your device. We store only what the shared family features need, and we explain all of it here.

What stays on your device

These are never sent to us:

  • Every date you type into a calculator, and every result.
  • Your theme choice (light, dark or auto) and language, saved in your browser’s local storage.
  • Your bump diary photos and notes, appointment questions, birth plan, checklists, caregiver card and other things you make with our tools.
  • The secret “edit key” of a family page you created.

Results are kept in the part of the web address after the “#”. Browsers never send that part to any server, so we cannot see it.

Family pages: what the link contains

When you share a family page, the due date and the baby’s name or nickname are written inside the link, after the “#”. Anyone who has the link can see them, so share it only with people you trust. We do not store them.

What our small server stores

A few family features need a tiny database on our server. It stores:

WhatWhyHow long
A random link ID and a scrambled (hashed) copy of the edit keySo only the parent can pause or manage the family pageUntil the parent deletes it, and at most 24 months
Paused: yes or noSo the family page can show a gentle message when pausedSame as above
After the birth, only if the parent enters them: the birth date and weightTo show the family that the baby has arrived and to find the baby pool winnerSame as above
Guesses in the baby pool: a display name and the guessed date, and optionally weight and hairTo show the game to the familyUntil the parent removes them, and at most 24 months
Messages to the baby: a display name and the messageShown to the family only after the parent approves themUntil the parent deletes them, and at most 24 months
A scrambled (hashed) version of your IP addressTo stop spam and abuse (rate limits)At most 24 hours

The server never stores the due date, the baby’s name, or any health information. Please do not put private information in display names or messages.

Contact form

If you write to us, your message (and your email address, if you give it) is sent to our mailbox so we can answer. We keep it only as long as needed to answer, and at most 12 months.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Like every web host, its servers process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Ads and cookies

Some pages may show up to two ads from Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent tool asks for your choice first; without consent, only limited ads are shown. Ads never receive your pregnancy dates. See our cookie policy.

There are no ads on sensitive pages, guides, legal pages or Kids Mode.

Tips

If you choose to tip, you pay on PayPal or Ko-fi, under their own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

Analytics

We do not use analytics today. If we add it later, it will be privacy-friendly, without cookies, and it will never see your dates. We will update this page first.

Children

Kids Mode for big brothers and sisters has no ads, no tracking and stores nothing. The child’s name stays inside the link or on the device.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete data about you. Because we store almost nothing, there is usually nothing to find. To delete a family page, its guesses and messages, use “Manage link” on the page, or contact us. We answer within one month.

  • European Union (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. You can complain to your national data protection authority (European Data Protection Board).
