Editorial policy

How we write

  • Short, clear sentences that are easy to read when you are tired.
  • Calm and honest. Never scary, never cute about medical topics.
  • Written for each language’s readers, with their own country’s rules.

How articles are made

Our articles are drafted with the help of AI from official sources. Before an article is published, a separate, independent AI fact-check compares every fact with its official source. We do not publish unchecked text.

  • Every important fact links to an official source inside the text.
  • Every article ends with a “Sources” list with the date we checked each source.
  • We do not write about symptoms, medicines, risks or pregnancy loss on the blog. Those topics need a health professional.

Our content is written from official sources. It is not reviewed by a doctor, and we never write “medically reviewed”.

Translations

Each language is written from our English text. Then a second, independent AI check translates it back and checks the meaning, the medical words, the numbers, the dates and the tone. A language goes live only when every automatic check passes.

Translations are not checked by a professional translator yet. If you see a mistake, please report a translation mistake. Native speakers can help through our Translate for mothers program.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, please report it. We check every report, fix mistakes quickly, and update the date on the page.
